A skin cancer is a tumour or growth of abnormal cells in the skin.
The signs of Skin Cancer can vary, however some warning signs include moles, scaly patches, open sores, or raised bumps. Different types of Skin Cancers share some of the same signs, so it is important to have regular check-ups
  • People who get sunburned
  • People with a lot of moles and freckles
  • If you have a family history of Skin Cancer
  • People with very pale skin

There are a number of treatment options, depending on the type of Skin Cancer:
  • Cryotherapy (freezing)
  • Photodynamic therapy
  • Excision
  • Radiotherapy
